Coach Nolan Bio

Nolan started playing golf at 3 years old when his parents bought him a set of plastic clubs. From a young age, it was clear Nolan had a talent for golf and an understanding of the game. He spent countless hours as a junior member at Easton Country Club improving his game in order to have an opportunity to play on the Oliver Ames High School Golf Team. Nolan made Varsity his sophomore year and was a three year varsity player, and captain his senior year. Nolan led the Hockomock League in low scoring average, and as a captain, led the OA Golf team to winning the Division 2 Sectional Championship in 2018. 

After high school, Nolan attended IJGA, a golf academy in South Carolina and Florida, to pursue his dreams of playing professionally. Over the course of a year he had 8 coaches helping evolve his game from mid to high 70’s & some 80’s to high 60s. During his time at IJGA, Nolan won a few junior tournaments including Central Florida Classic where he earned a World Amateur Golf Rating (WAGR). Working with these coaches is where Nolan’s interest in golf mechanics began. He loved how every coach he worked with brought a new and different perspective to the golf swing. As he learned more about each of their swing philosophies, and mastered his own swing, he started giving advice to friends and family and discovered his passion for teaching. Today, Nolan is a PGA Associate working towards his PGA Membership.
